A graded-exposure program for chronic lower-back pain: hinge, lift and carry patterns reintroduced at calibrated loads, progressed on tolerance data.
Assessment establishes which movements and loads currently provoke symptoms, and at what threshold. The program then works deliberately toward those thresholds rather than away from them — hinge patterns on the rig at recorded loads, carries and lifts progressed in set increments, tolerance reviewed weekly against the baseline. Patients finish with a load history: proof, in their own numbers, of what their back handles.
